Smith Sparks Memories in Panthers Win
NFL.com
I cannot think of many Panther games where we adjusted very well to the game. The defense was giving up huge runs and it quickly shut down the run. There was no pressure on Bulgar early, but as the game wore on, he looked hurried. In all fairness, the loss of Orlando Pace may have something to do with that as well. The offense had a nice first drive, but was stagnant for the rest of the half.
I really liked the play-calling on offense for the simple fact that they did not cling on any type of scheme. They were mixing it up. They were doing it all. They were aggressive at times, conservative, tricky etc... Way to go Jeff Davidson. Of course, Smitty adds another home-run to his repertoire. Good Job Trgovac in the 2nd half as well. Only negative for me was that big return by Dante Hall to our 20, but our defense instantly snuffed out that momentum by holding them to a 3 and out. I've seen more dominating wins, but I can't recall being this satisfied with play calling and game management. We look good. Great job adjusting. Also, great job being resiliant as we rebounded from two fumbles in hostile territory.
Oh ya. I watched the game at Hooters in hostile territory surrounded by so many Rams fans. It was such a great experience. I can fairly say that I have found a spot to watch the games. It is amazing how the lovely women there turn into human beings when a bigger passion(football) is involved :-) Does that mean lust and sports use the same emotional energy? Who gives a sh**! We won. Great job with adjusting and resilience. Need to see more of that this season.

So, did you make a peep, holler in joy, when the Panthers won when you were so obviously surrounded by many many Ram fans?
I was loud and rowdy, but then it wa snormal behavior. I didn't even know I was being that way until I left :-)
You win the prize for the first commenter on this blog, and you don't even like football...Thanks Yemi :-)
